Hello! My name is Judi Ellen and I am the artist at Judi Ellen Art.

I was born and raised in NYC and NJ. I currently live in Las Vegas, NV and have been here for 28 years (minus 3 years that my husband, 2 Bichons and I bought a 40' motorhome and toured the USA. That is when photography caught my eye)

I have been a artist, crafter and designer for most of my teen and adult life....

I love doing anything that consists of just about any form of art.

I have done from Crocheting to Sewing to reupholstering. Candle making to jewelry making to clay molding. Photography to Vinyl design/art to oil paintings to acrylic art. And everything in between.

I am passionate about nature, water (rivers, streams, brooks, waterfalls) and I love lighthouses and sea life (whales, dolphins, starfish, seahorses. I love seashells of all sorts

I really love the personalized and uniqueness you can express when doing acrylic fluid art. It allows me to make my favorites, which are OOAK (One Of A Kind) artwork. It also allows me to do commission pieces for clients and let them choose their own colors and for the most part, their own technique for me to use.

Alot of artists recreate or print duplicate their artwork. I don't don't engage in that currently and don't see it happening in the near future....making prints from my artwork photos seems to make me feel like it no longer is truly unique. One thing I will say is....if I ever decided to do so with any/all or some of my work....it would happen from that point forward. Any past artwork that I have done and or sold would remain a OOAK. So if you buy a painting from me, it will always be a OOAK, until otherwise said by me.

Each piece of artwork is given an authentic signature/month & year, title name and registration number. That is what makes them OOAK and unique to that buyer. My signature/date will be on the backside of canvases and one other place, can be the wood frame or side of canvas. You can't see the backside of the canvas as we apply protective paper to the back of paintings to protect it. Thus why I sign it a second time. The following will have signature or initials with just year done (and will only be done once) on the bottom of items like vases, back side of plaques, coasters and so on. If something is not signed, it will be mentioned in the listing.

Any and all of our artwork pieces are placed into its proper category here on my website and given a brief story of that category of artworks process.
